The hotel feels more like a home with only 8 rooms right behind the reception desk, exceptionally clean and neat. The service was very welcoming and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. The location, though close to attractions like McGill University and the Metro station, had some sketchy elements. Dining at St Barth was refined, but missing breakfast was a drawback.
I stayed at Parc Suites and had a mixed experience. The hotel offers a clean and comfortable one bedroom suite, but unfortunately, the room was a bit noisy as it was located right above a busy street. The service provided by the staff, especially at check-in and check-out, was excellent and very friendly. The location, while perfect for some, might not be ideal for everyone due to the presence of homeless individuals in the nearby alley. The dining at Cafe St-Barth was satisfying, although the absence of breakfast was a downside. Overall, the facilities at the hotel were decent.
The suites at the hotel felt more like one-bedroom apartments, and despite efforts to cover a slight smoky scent with a cheap air freshener, they were very clean and cozy. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist my husband with his health issues. However, there was a minor smell issue in the rooms.
